This session has been in the works for a WHILE. The crappy weather kept
pushing it back. Do you know how annoying that is? Seriously, it's
terrible. But Sunday was a beautiful fall day and we took full advantage
of it! Mrs. Herbert (it feels weird saying Marisa haha) was Carson's
Kindergarten teacher at Mary Calcott. Through the magic that is
Facebook, she told me she was interested in doing a session. The
planning pretty much just went nuts from there. I love using props. She
was all about some props. It was a beautiful thing. I will admit it was
the biggest challenge of a session so far. Getting three kids to smile
(or even just look in your general direction) is not an easy task.
Especially when two of those kids are 6 month old twins. But I am so
happy with how everything turned out. I am so thankful for the learning
experiences that all of my clients give me. Every session is so different than the last. I go into every one a complete bundle of nerves and once I get there it just kinda melts away. I'm getting ready to make some big changes here soon, and as soon as everything falls into place I will be sure to post about it. Here's how everything went down last Sunday:
Eva worked strictly for gummies, marshmallows and skittles. The girl caught on pretty quick how these few hours were going to work. She did such a good job and (after a little candy persuading), pretty much did anything we asked. Wyatt and Isaac played by their own set of rules. They were just soaking up every second of being somewhere new. Despite the fact we were moving them around, sitting them down in different places and sticking them in crates...there were no big meltdowns. The whole family was great and I would love to do it all over again.

Seriously? Twins in crates. The cuteness is unreal.
