Moving Right Along

Literally...we are moving right along. We found a GREAT single family home to rent and we move December 8th. We cannot WAIT to get away from this jet noise. The new place is a 5 bedroom house on a cul-de-sac with an inground pool. Can you say stoked!?!?! We love it so much we signed a lease for 2 years and 3 months (so that we can get out of this time frame of moving at the holidays). Who knows, if we like it as much as we think we will maybe it will be longer.

So I'm 18 weeks and 1 day now. I'm not sure if it's my nesting kicking in or what, but things have been weird lately. Those that know me know that I DON'T cook. Period. I can cook (kinda good actually), but I hate it with a passion. I wish I got more excited about it. I cook on Thanksgiving, Christmas and Father's Day and that's it. But the other night I decided to cook my lasagna (which takes about 3 hours). Completely out of nowhere. I've also been pinning things for the new house like crazy. I haven't even remotely wanted to decorate a house we've lived in for the past 2 years. Since we'll be here for at least 2 years and 3 months I want to make it as home-y as possible. Complete with removable wallpaper (thank you Pinterest!)

Everything is going good in the baby cooking department. I have a regular appointment Monday and the big ultrasound to look for any abnormalities Monday as well...should be a long morning. At first we were going to do a gender reveal party because Vernon REALLY wanted to. I tried as hard as I could to get into the idea, even tried to get myself hyped up to throw a party, but it didn't work. At the end of the day I was dreading it and knew I would be so disappointed in myself if I didn't speak up. So I did and we've decided to wait like we did with Carson. I'm sure some people will be upset because people have no patience anymore, but whatever. They can do what they want when the baby is growing in their uterus.
