Operation Get Back on Track

Is in fuullll swing. I woke up at 6am, hit the gym and I am ready to start my day. These five days off of work have been much needed just to kinda clear my head and get focused on what is most important. My health, home and family mean the most and I gotta start focusing my efforts on maintaining all three. Don't cha love how Mondays make you feel so motivated sometimes? =]

I'm planning on making a home binder. I found this great blog called The Nest Effect that gives great advice on maintaining your budget, cleaning chores, shopping lists, etc. I'm pretty sure that this week little by little I'm going to create one. For those who know me and actually read this, I love anything school supply related and in bright colored patterns. I'm always looking for a reason to buy notebooks, dividers, etc.

I ended up finishing Carson's curtain this weekend too. My mother in law came over and showed me how to sew in about 5 minutes. I love it and I hope to do more things soon. I finished her curtain for her bed and also made her a blanket. The sewing is without a doubt not the best thing you've ever seen, but Carson loves it anyway and that's what matters. I'm really glad that I took the time to do something that I've always wanted to do. I'm tired of wanting to try stuff, make stuff on pinterest, etc. and never doing it. I'm putting on my crafty pants, staying organized and going forward from here! It'll probably be a rough week trying to find a groove of how to do everything but I know it's worth it and it will get easier over time.
