Carson's Room

Her bed is finally done! With no plans actually written down I can't believe we accomplished it. Oh, and by "we" I mean Vernon built it and I painted it haha. Either way, it's done and it's awesome! Carson was a little freaked out at first but she is definitely loving it now. We also scored on a small table and chair for underneath. Now she will have a real writing space to do all of her creations. Here's a picture of the set we got from Goodwill for a total of $18!

We primed it and then painted it a nice bright color that matches everything else.
You'll have to wait to see what color!

I just realized that I didn't take an after shot of the table and chair set. I'll have to take it this weekend when we move it into her room. We also found a nice, big, sturdy bookshelf and the CHKD Thrift Store for $20. We didn't buy it though =\ It looked kinda big and bulky to Vernon and now that I think about it he was right. I have recently found a great bookshelf on another blog that I am interested in. Maybe that's a project we'll tackle this weekend. But here are the pictures of us installing the bed in her room.
