Squats and Chicken Pox

So this week we've had our highs and lows. For starters, last Friday I set my new squat PR of 185. Pretty stoked. When i started back in June I was doing 145 and I already put on 40 pounds in 3 months. Unfortunately I haven't been consistent with going to the gym still BUT I am doing a LOT better than I have been in a looooong time. I try to go at least 3 days a week and when I go I put in some SERIOUS work. I would really love to hit 200 in my squat by Christmas. Totally do-able.

Vernon and I train together as much as we can and he really pushes me. I love when our schedules go together and we can train at the same time. I know that I am probably slowing him down but I love it so much. Still trying to stay on track with the diet. I'm coming home and cooking for the rest of the week tonight actually. I gotta stay focused. I know that eating clean 100% of the time is not a great plan to have so when i do "cheat" I eat smaller portions and I have been trying not to eat past about 6:30 (my last break at work).

AAAANNND on to the not so awesome news....Carson got chicken pox this weekend. =[ She has been out of school all week and won't be going back until Monday. She's not really itching though and doesn't have a fever, so that's good. I'm thinking she's not having that bad of a reaction because she has been vaccinated for it. So we're making the best of it. My work schedule is all kind of screwed up this week because I've had to take off to be with her because Vernon has school. I'm going in to work tomorrow to make up some of the hours but I still have like 8 to make up after that. =\

Work has been going ok. Still love the schedule and everything but it's been a slow month and sales have been slacking. I really need to hit 109 for the month to get my promotion and I think right now I only have 70 with only  one week left. We'll see what happens though! Gonna try to update this thing more as well.
